Cardiac Wellness Documentary

In the state of Nevada if a firefighter or police officer has a cardiac event on the job, the state has to pay for it. SpecialtyHealth believes enacting preventative care here and saving the state money will serve as an example for how preventative care is the answer across the board.

In 2011 I directed and edited medical research documentary: “Physical Survival for Fire Fighters and Law Enforcement Officers: A New Look at Identifying Who is at Risk, Before the Heart Attack.” Working with SpecialtyHealth in Reno, Nevada, I interviewed firefighters, doctors, fitness and nutrition specialists to create a documentary that explores groundbreaking new insight into heart health, while serving as an inspiring educational tool for people to better their health.
